Application
THERMINOL®* VP-1 can be used in both the steam and liquid phase because of its special composition. The steam phase operation is possible from an atmospheric pressure of 257 °C. The steam pressure is approx. 11 bar absolute at 400 °C.
THERMINOL®* VP-1 crystallises at temperatures below 12 °C. It is therefore essential to implement precautions against pipes freezing, e.g. in the form of trace heating, in particular in installations outside of buildings.
THERMINOL®* VP-1 is a eutectic mixture of 73.5 % diphenyl oxide and 26.5 % diphenyl.
Please consider that we cannot supply the THERMINOL®* series outside the DACH region.
